How It Works

1. Reward good behavior by giving badges to children

2. Collect a total of 9 Badges to fill the board

3. Trade in those 9 Badges for 1 Ribbon

4. Collect a total of 3 Ribbons to fill the board

5. Trade in 3 Ribbons to progress to the next level

6. Continue to earn badges, trade them in, and climb through the levels

The Theory

Positive reinforcement works because our children crave our attention. When a behavior in our children receives attention, good or bad, their natural tendency is to repeat that behavior.

We know, as parents, that we must focus on catching our children in the act of doing good, but with busy lives it can be tough to do that consistently.

The badge board adds structure around this positive reinforcement, that helps with managing behavior, motivating children, and becoming better parents.

We believe that it can help your family too!

Optionals (rewards and consequences)

Rewards can be given out when a new ribbon is earned or when a new level is achieved

Parents choosing to use consequence techniques can take badges away for poor behavior
